From Sonnenberg with the STB (Süd-Thüringen-Bahn) to station Rauenstein.. Coming from Eisenach / Meiningen to station. Schalkau Here we will pick you up.

By car:

A73: Coming from Suhl exit Eisfeld Nord – direction Eisfeld of Coburg take exit Eisfeld Süd – direction Eisfeld. In Eisfeld the B 89 direction Sonnenberg take over Bachfeld up to Schalkau. In turn Schalkau 300 m after the petrol station turn left towards Katzhütte / Steinheid. On the outskirts Truckenthal leave the right-turning main street going further. Approximately 600 m after the last houses the road climbs slightly. In the crossing – Main sharp leads left the forest road to the right – drive them straight. After 100 m you are in our resort.

Warning in case of possible closures in Truckenthal please stay on the main road and follow the detour Theuern direction Neundorf. After the descent you encounter coming to the main road of Truckenthal. Directly behind the old sawmill turn sharp right in our resort.

A9 or A72: direction Sonnenberg, from there the B89 follow up Schalkau. When leaving Schalkau direction Katzhütte / Steinheid turn right.
