Welcome to our spacious and diverse facility on the southern edge of the Thuringian Forest. Guests from all countries feel at home here, where they can find friends and enjoy nature. We welcome not only our holiday or seminar guests, youth groups or mechanics, but also refugees, mainly Kurds from Syria and Iraq. Together we built the house of solidarity.

Our team of professionals awaits at the resort and enjoys working with many volunteers and self-sufficient together.
The resort was built in 1952 with volunteer missions of the population, especially as a holiday camp for children and teenagers. First, the large group house with kitchen and dining room was. Gradually, the wooden huts and more houses were built. Many people from the area spent as children or adolescents their holiday in the resort. After reunification, the plant was temporarily used as an asylum seeker accommodation.
Then she stood empty 5 years, and began to deteriorate. From 2003, a new chapter began. Hundreds helpers from near and far, young and old, packed altruistic and volunteer with to save this jewel as a recreational facility for young people and families. A new sanitary section was built, rooms and cabins restored, awakens the outdoor stage from its slumber and a vibrant life moved back into the forest ground.
